Jessica Allan is a member of the Australian Defence Force and an Australian Rules footballer who plays for the Adelaide Crows in the AFLW.

Jess began playing football when she was five-years-old and took a keen interest in the sport from this moment onward.

In the 2017 Under-18 National Championships, Jess captained the Allies and was named Vice-Captain of the All-Australian team from the Championships.

After a stellar under-18 season, Jess was drafted by Adelaide with the eighth overall selection in the 2017 AFL Women's Draft. She made her debut in the first round of the 2018 AFLW season and went on to play four games for the season.

Jess plays in the ruck and is renowned for her strong contested marking skills and vertical jump.

Away from football, Jess is enrolled in the Australian Army and in 2019, she was placed on Adelaide's inactive list for the 2019 season due to intensive training for the Australian Army.

Following the 2019 AFLW season, Jess was required to move to Canberra for her army career and was therefore traded to GWS. She played 14 games for the Giants across the 2020 and 2021 seasons, before being placed on their inactive list for the 2022 season due to her army training.

Jess was then required by the army to move back to Adelaide, which saw her traded back to the Crows ahead of the 2023 AFLW season.
