Grandson of Carlton Hall of Fame member Laurie Kerr, Pat is a tall forward with a great set of hands. During the 2016 NAB AFL U18 National Championship, Kerr represented Vic Metro where he took the most marks on a lead, fifth most total marks and was the third leading goal kicker. Oakleigh Chargers Vice-Captain during the 2016 TAC Cup season, Kerr was named at Full Forward in the 2016 TAC Cup Team of The Year. The St Kevins student gets the chance to continue the family tradition at the Blues after Carlton took him with selection 65 at the 2016 NAB AFL Draft. Kerr stands out for his prowess and physical presence, he is a skilful youngster and definitely one to watch.

Kerr made his AFL debut in Round 9 of the 2018 season where he collected seven disposals in his sides 109 point loss. Despite the side’s inability to win, Kerr showed great promise in his ability to impact a game that was so heavily favoured against him.

Kerr played a total of four senior games for the club over two seasons before being delisted at the end of 2019.

Kerr played the 2021 season for the Port Melbourne Football Club in the VFL.
