Aleksandar ‘Aleks’ Vukic is a professional Australian tennis player who is currently ranked 50 in the world for singles.
Born in Sydney, he enjoyed a decorated college tennis career at the University of Illinois (2015-18) where he was named three-time All-American.
2020 saw Aleks achieve two career firsts – qualifying for his first Grand Slam at the 2020 French Open in addition to making his first ATP Challenger final in Monterrey, Mexico.
After an impressive end to 2021, the right-hander enjoyed a breakout summer in 2022 which has seen him secure three top-50 wins and maiden ATP quarter-final singles and doubles appearances at the Adelaide International.
In 2023, Aleks' game reached new heights as he claimed his second career ATP Challenger title and broke into the top 100 in the ATP Rankings for the first time.
Most recently, Aleks’ reached the final in Atlanta for the ATP 250, defeating 3 top 50 ranked players in the world en route to the final.
Aleks is a young Australian tennis player of great talent with a big future ahead of him.
Nicknamed 'Vuki', Aleks is also a dual-linguist, speaking both English and Serbo-Croatian.
Aleks enjoys playing and supporting both football and basketball when not on the court, and is a big fan of Arsenal (Premier League) and LeBron James (LA Lakers).
