About me
Cortnee Vine made her professional football debut with Brisbane Roar on 25 October 2015, at just 16 years of age. She made seven appearances for the team during the 2015–16 W-League season.
She then went on to play with Western Sydney Wanderers and the Newcastle Jets in the A-LeagueWomen's competition, and in 2020 found her home with Sydney FC, and continues to play with them today.
Not only has she made a significant impact in the local A-League Women's competition, including being awarded Goal of The Year during the 2019 Dolan Warren Awards, but she also represented Australia playing in the under-20 national team before receiving the phone call of the lifetime!
Cortnee was selected to represent Australia playing with the Matildas in 2022 and made her debut against the Philippines in January at the 2022 AFC Women’s Asian Cup. Having secured her place on the team for the 2023FIFA Women’s World Cup she also has her sights set on the 2024 Paris Olympics. And who will forget the penalty Cortnee took to send the Matildas into the semifinals of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup tournament?
