At the end of the 2024 AFL season, Charlie Dixon called time on a remarkable career which consisted of 65 games on the Gold Coast and 156 games for Port Adelaide.
Standing at two metres tall, he was recruited by AFL expansion side Gold Coast and etched his name in the club’s history books by kicking their first goal in their debut AFL match against Carlton in 2011.
Over the course of five seasons at Carrara, Dixon established himself as one of the competition’s best young forwards by booting 94 goals in 65 games for the Suns.
A change of scenery in 2016 only furthered his reputation as he went onto winning Port’s leading goalkicker award in 2017, 2020 and 2021.
Having placed second in the Coleman Medal standings in 2020, Dixon was rewarded by earning All-Australian selection and is considered a fan favourite amongst the Power contingent.
Off the field, he is revhead and hosts his own YouTube channel Drivin’ with Dixon which has a dedicated following among car and motor enthusiasts across the country and also work closely with Tool Kit Depot.
