Dylan Buckley is a former professional Australian rules football player, who has since developed a career in the media industry, through his podcast called “Dyl & Friends”.
Buckley was drafted under the father-son rule, for Carlton Football Club, where he played a total of 39 games for the club, and debuted in 2013. Buckley was added to the club for his forward pressure and ability to play down back. In 2017 Buckley was unfortunately delisted from Carlton and picked up by GWS where he retired in 2019.
Buckley’s podcast Dyl & Friends, now has close to 100 episodes, where he speaks to various people such as AFL Players, mentors and coaches such as Ben Crowe, as well as mental health advocates like Hugh Van Cylenberg & Zac Siedler and many more. His podcast allows his listeners to hear the real side of his guests and their personal story.
