Ruchi Page, 27 Indian Australian Content Creator, writer, and advocate for inclusion and confidence from Melbourne is one to watch in the beauty industry.
Social media has been at the forefront for the past 4 years; however, the creator has boomed into the beauty spotlight during the middle of Melbourne’s 2020 lockdown. From working with smaller brands to being picked up by major Australian retailers such as Adore Beauty and Priceline, Ruchi has established her place in the beauty space.
Centennial Beauty, an online publication picked up on the noise Ruchi was creating and her first published interview titled “Introducing Ruchi Page the Micro-Influencer Taking Over the Beauty Industry,” was born.
This led to further attraction from brands such as Zoë Foster Blake’s skincare brand Go-To Skincare, MECCA Brands, featuring as a guest on That Beauty Podcast and Talking Social Podcast and working alongside an array of brands sold at major retailers. The high interest continues when WelleCo and Sand and Sky asked Ruchi to model for their campaigns, as well as Mamamia Australia inviting the social media creator to join the You Beauty Collective as a contributing writer. All in which has now been added to Ruchi’s list of success.
As the milestones keep building, Ruchi was able to establish an audience based on trust and relatability. Her commitment to challenging the beauty industry when it comes to inclusion as well as exploring body positivity, has sparked consistently positive conversations with her audience. The digital creator has caught the attention of her high school in her hometown of Ballarat where she was asked to speak and tell her career story to 900 High School girls which lead to a significant increase of young eyes wanting to learn more about Ruchi’s social media journey. Activism has led Ruchi to be a solid voice in the Global Shades Movement with Adore Beauty, a movement that reached Sunrise Australia calling all retailers to stock all shades of foundation and concealer for equal accessibility.
By combining makeup artistry, a passion for skincare intertwined with activism, Ruchi has become a force to be reckoned with. She is actively referred to as a source of inspiration in the beauty space and firmly believes no dream is too big.
