About me

Luke Feldman is a former Australian cricketer who played for the Queensland Bulls and multiple big bash franchises (sydney sixers, sydney thunder & Brisbane Heat)

A right-arm fast bowler from North Queensland, he still mixes cricket with a full-time job as a Police Officer in the Missing Persons Unit of the Queensland Police Service.

Luke Joined the Queensland Police Service in 2005 at the age of 20 and continued with his policing service in a number of different roles whilst playing cricket professionally.

He made his first-class cricket debut at age 25 after being identified playing in the Queenland Country system out of Townsville. His debut first-class match was against the Touring West Indies in the 2009/10 summer. Feldman went on to play 63 first class games for Queensland over a decade, taking 232 wickets at an average of 25.

One of Feldman’s most impressive performances with the ball came during the 2012-13 BBL season, when he took 10 wickets for Sydney Sixers at an impressive economy rate of 6.53.

Feldman was not a high achiever at a junior level but his passion and love for the game inspired him to continue to enhance his skills and abilities to achieve success for teams at all levels.
