Selwyn Cobbo is one of the NRL's most exciting outside backs and currently plays for the Dolphins. Equally comfortable on the wing, at centre or fullback, Cobbo is renowned for his speed, athleticism and game breaking ability.
A quietly spoken and proud Indigenous Australian from Cherbourg, Cobbo came through the Broncos Academy and Emerging Squad pathways after captaining Murgon State High School. Since making his NRL debut in 2021, he has established himself as a representative player, earning Queensland and Australian honours and representing the Indigenous All Stars.
Selwyn is incredibly popular with children and young rugby league fans, particularly within Indigenous communities where he is a proud role model. His humble nature, infectious personality and willingness to give back make him a favourite for school visits, community programs, junior clinics and special events.
