Travis Dodd started his footballing career at Adelaide City, before moving abroad, playing firstly with Malaysian club Johor, then Greek club Panionios NFC. He is versatile and can play as an attacking midfielder, winger or striker. In 2005, he signed with Adelaide United and won the 05/06 A-League Premiership. Dodd was the first Australian player to score a hat-trick in the Asian Champions League and the first Adelaide United player to reach 100 competitive games. He became captain of Adelaide United in 2008 before signing with Perth Glory in 2011. In 2013 he tore his ACL, and was unable to play after more than a year of recovery, which left him out of contract. In 2016, Dodd signed with the MetroStars before tearing his ACL for the second time, ending his playing career. He has spent time as Assistant Coach with the MetroStars in Adelaide as well as spending time as Assistant Coach for Adelaide United in the W-League.

For the past 3 years, Travis has been the Head Coach at Croydon FC, coaching their senior men's NPL team.
