Candice Warner is an Australian household name recognised for combining the grit of a champion ironwoman with the glamour of being one half of our nation’s most famous sporting couple. As an emerging athlete Warner first drew attention as her sport’s youngest ever competitor to turn professional at just 14 years old.
Since this time, her impressive list of accolades includes three World Championship gold medals and 60 state championship medals (36 of them being gold and two NSW board titles). She has won the Queen of Nelson Mandela Bay (South Africa), was Round 5 Ironwoman Series Race Champion (2012), the 2013 NSW Ironwoman Champion and has won 20 Australian Championship medals.
Her sparkling personality, cheeky sense of humour and poster-girl good looks has seen Warner’s career bloom far beyond that of a successful international athlete.
Frequently called upon to commentate on sporting, social and women’s issues Warner is a regular on Channel 9’s Today Show and WWOS, Triple M’s The Grill Team and has written a weekly column for the Sunday Telegraph.
As wife of the world’s most exciting batsman, Australian cricketer David Warner, Candice assumes the role of supportive partner, pitch-side fashion icon and one half of Australia’s sporting ‘royal couple’.
Combining her strong sense of style and practical experience in the water, Candice launched her own swimwear range, Finz in December 2013.
Candice is a busy mum to three girls and an outgoing, vibrant woman who applies determination, courage, humour and her own kind of zest to every aspect of her life. From athlete to mother, partner to entrepreneur and beyond, Candice lives passionately, truly intent on achieving her personal best.
