Darren currently serves as High Performance Manager at Adelaide Football Club. Prior to joining the Crows in 2022, ‘Burgo’ played an important role in Melbourne’s Premiership success of 2021 where he was the club’s High-Performance Manager leading them to their first Premiership in 57 years.
Darren’s expert credentials extend beyond Australia’s game having previously spent time in the ultra-high-pressure English Premier League in high performance roles at English football giants Arsenal and Liverpool respectively.
A PhD holder in Sport Science and Technology, Darren is a polished and engaging public speaker and is an expert in educating corporate teams in performance under pressure.
