Nathan is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who captained the Parramatta Eels in the NRL. A New South Wales State of Origin and Australian international representative second-row forward, he played his entire career at the Eels, in 2010 breaking the record for most games with the club. On 28 August 2018, Hindmarsh was inducted into the Parramatta Eels hall of fame.
One of Parramatta’s favourite sons, Nathan played his entire career, 330 games, with the Eels. In 2010 he broke the record for most games with the club. He played 17 games for New South Wales (2001-2010) and represented his country on 22 occasions from 2000 to 2009.
In 2013, Nathan joined FOX SPORTS as an NRL commentator and analyst. In 2014, he moved to the Monday Night with Matty Johns team. Along with his role on the couch, the regular 'Fletch & Hindy’ segment, with his mate Bryan Fletcher, has become a very popular part of the show.
In 2015, Nathan also joined Matty Johns for his new Thursday night show, Matty Johns Big Weekend. In 2016 the team moved to Friday nights to present Friday Night Footy on Fox.
