Create an experience with Dana East

Dana East is relatively new to football having played basketball previously, and has only been in the football pathway for two years. 

Captaining Western Australia at Junior Basketball tournaments in both 2016 & 2018, whilst also representing the state all the way up to the Under 20 level, before picking footy up in the last year of her schooling for some fun.

She starred for WA at the 2021 NAB AFL U19 Championships. She ranked equal seventh for clearances and second for tackles overall, while also averaging 20 disposals per game across the Championships.

Taken with Pick 31 in the NAB AFLW Draft in 2021 by the Fremantle Dockers, East went on to play all 11 games in her first year. In round 9, Dana was rewarded with a nomination for the NAB Rising Star for efforts against Melbourne.

Interest & Hobbies

When not playing AFL, Dana can be found socialising with her friends and family, enjoying her time at the gym and showing off her basketball skills. Dana is currently studying at Curtin University.
