Shelley Craft is one of Australia’s most popular personalities after leading a diverse range of programs on Australian television for over 20 years. A household name, Shelley is best known by families across the country from her presenting roles on The Block and Australia’s Funniest Home Videos.

Shelley’s life on air began as she successfully auditioned for a spot on Channel 7’s morning variety program Saturday Disney back in 1996. It wasn’t long before production was brought to Sydney which allowed her the opportunity to work as a sports reporter for Channel 7’s newly dedicated pay-TV sports channel and cover a diverse range of international events from the Olympic Games in Sydney and Salt Lake City, to the Australian Open in Melbourne for multiple years.

Many other varied opportunities came Shelley’s way during her time at Channel 7 including co-hosting the Guinness World Records, presenting on popular travel program The Great Outdoors, and hosting the iconic annual Carols in the Domain.

In 2008, it was time for something new and Shelley signed with the Nine Network hosting the iconic family favourite program, Australia’s Funniest Home Videos, for 7 years. During this time Shelley was asked to join Domestic Blitz, a home renovation program about giving back to families that had endured hardship. With the network keen to expand on the format The Block was developed and has consistently dominated in TV ratings ever since.

In 2021, Shelley proudly returned to the television hit, The Block, alongside Scott Cam for its 17th season on air. Outside The Block, Shelley also co-hosts Channel 9’s Your Domain, a live program offering the latest advice in buying, selling and investing in the Australian property market. Her experience in property and renovations both on TV and off camera has led her to partner with well known brands including financial comparison site Canstar, national flooring retailer Carpet Court, Tint-A-Home and Simonds Homes. Bringing her profile to many charities and causes Shelley is a proud ambassador for RizeUp Australia.
