Harvey Skinner is an English rugby union player who plays for Exeter Chiefs in the Premiership Rugby.

Brought through the Academy system at Bicton College, working alongside Rob Gibson, Skinner was brought into the Chiefs senior ranks during the 2015/16 season.

Initially introduced as an apprentice as the club, the gifted playmaker impressed sufficiently enough, both in training, Under-18 and A League fixtures, to be handed a full contract at Sandy Park.

Initially on dual-registered terms with National League One side Plymouth Albion, then in the Championship with the Cornish Pirates, he made his senior Chiefs debut in the Anglo-Welsh Cup win at home to Cardiff Blues in November 2016.

Keen to provide able back-up to the likes of Joe Simmonds and Gareth Steenson, Skinner worked closely with both players and head coach Ali Hepher to develop his on-field game.

It was a tactic that would serve him well and with the 2019/20 season offering him the chance to impress, he made his Gallagher Premiership debut in the impressive away win over Bristol Bears at Ashton Gate.

By the end of the season, he would feature six times in the top flight - a perfect foundation for him to kick on in 2020/21, especially with Steenson having retired into the club's coaching staff.
