Todd Carney is an Australian former professional rugby league player who played in the 2000s and 2010s. He played at Five-eighth, Halfback or fullback as well as being a goal-kicker. 

Born in Goulburn, NSW, Carney has represented NSW Country, New South Wales and Australia. Carney was a part of Canberra Raiders Jersey Flegg Championship team in 2003 and was named Raiders Rookie of the Year upon his debut season in 2004. 2006 saw Carney score 12 tries in 18 games and be awarded Raiders’ leading try scorer alongside Adam Mogg. 

2007 saw Carney earn three Man of Match awards out of 7 games. Carney was a part of the Sydney Roosters 2010 Grand Finalist Team, finishing the regular season second on the top point scorers and was named Dally M Medalist for the NRL’s Best Player. He also won five-eighth of the year and the Provan-Summons (Peoples Choice) award. He also received the Rugby League International Federation’s International Player of the year award, 2010.
