Jacqui Dover is a Basketball referee, a proud Yugambeh Aboriginal woman, and the first Indigenous Female Referee to officiate in the NBL. In January 2022, Jacqui is heading to the NBA as a member of the Referee Development Program.
Jacqui first began officiating in the QLD State League in 2015 after a short stint as a player in the league. In 2018, Jacqui debuted in the WNBL and has remained active on the panel for the last 3 seasons, working Semi Final games in both 2019 and 2020.
In 2021, Jacqui became the first Indigenous Female Referee to officiate in the NBL working the game between the Cairns Taipans and Brisbane Bullets during Indigenous Round. Following this, Jacqui has since joined the NBL as one of 3 Part-Time officials.
Outside of officiating, Jacqui works within the Indigenous and Multicultural space as well as running her own referee mentoring business.
