'Coach Romina' is a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Athlete and Instructor out of Gracie Barra St Peters. She is an avid Brown Belt competitor in both BJJ and Judo. She is passionate about sharing the countless benefits of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu with the communities around her, whether that is learning how to defend yourself, harnessing your inner strength, or connecting with your local community. Many do not see or appreciate the importance of the sport's benefits and life-long learnings. Contextualising these importances in people’s lives is the first step.

With +10 years of mat time and +5 years of coaching, Romina has had the opportunity to connect with a wide array of audiences ranging in age, size, and experience level. As the Head Women and Kids' Instructor at her academy, she has learned the verbal and physical cues that best resonate with each group. Coach Romina is not shy in starting both the silly and the deep conversations that we all need every once in a while. Her bubbly, extroverted yet caring personality allows her and others to exchange stories that connect and inspire everyone in the room.
