Reece Walsh has had an explosive entry into the NRL, landing as a fullback for the New Zealand Warriors and being selected as what would have been the youngest State of Origins debutant to date.
Walsh is widely regarded as one of the hottest young talents in the game and is yet another product from the famed Keebra Park State High School rugby league nursery which produced his future teammate Ben Murdoch-Masila along with the likes of Benji Marshall and Payne Haas.
Walsh's made his NRL debut with the Vodafone Warriors after just two weeks at the club. The warriors were up against the premiers the Melbourne Storm on Anzac Day, but Walsh had impressed all judges by the end with a debut that ranked among the most eye catching in the game's history.
Walsh has Australian Indigenous heritage on his father's side and has Maori heritage through his birth mother, who is from Hastings.
