Athlete association partnerships
Pickstar has formed strategic partnerships with a number of Australia’s leading athlete associations to develop and grow commercial opportunities for elite athletes.
The AFL Players Association is a key stakeholder in the AFL industry, representing the interests of both AFL and AFLW players past and present. Pickstar works with AFL Players to develop commercial opportunities and life after sport pathways for its members.
The Australian Basketball Players Association represents Australia’s professional basketballers, both locally and internationally. Pickstar works with the ABPA to develop personal brand and commercial opportunities for its members.
The Professional Footballers Australia represents Australia’s elite footballers, both locally and internationally. Pickstar works with the PFA to develop personal brand and commercial opportunities for its members.
The Australian Netball Players Association promotes the interests and protects the welfare of Australia’s elite netballers. Pickstar proactively works with the association and its members to open up access to commercial opportunities and also provide brand education and advice.
Pickstar has a strategic relationship with the New Zealand Cricket Players Association, New Zealand’s peak representative body for professional cricketers, working together on commercial and player development opportunities for athletes past and present.

Pickstar has partnered with AGM partners, who play a different but complementary role in the athlete media and marketing category.
