Maddie Penna made her WNCL debut for the ACT Meteors on 22 September 2019 against Victoria. Maddie then earned an opportunity with the Melbourne Stars as a replacement player and starred with her leg spin. The following season saw a move to Adelaide Strikers and a 56 for 33 balls including 24 off a single over and some big sixes which she continiued from growing her reputation as a big hitter. She capped off a stellar season in the WNCL with 118 from 100 balls in a big win over WA. In 2022/23 Maddie made the move to South Australia for WNCL.
A young gun on the rise, Maddie is one to watch.
