Tim Gossage’s sporting career may have been cut short by a lack of ability, but the following 35 years in sporting media TV, radio and print has provided an adequate replacement to success on the field.

Across three decades with the 10 Network, Goss (as he is affectionately known as) spent his time presenting, producing and reporting the 5pm sport news.

Goss was a prolific winner at the WA Football Media Guild Awards, taking home the coveted Geoff Christian Medal for Excellence in 2013 and Dennis Cometti Award for Excellence Over a Career in 2012.

Known for his colourful commentary and broad sporting knowledge, Goss played a crucial role in the 10 Network's national coverage of the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival for seven years, travelled to the UK for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2014 and was a commentator on 10's AFL coverage including boundary rider duties at the 2005 and 2006 AFL Grand Finals.

Goss was the brains behind The Western Front, one of TV’s most successful local footy shows which aired for 10 years, and his prowess as a footy caller has been heard via the airwaves on Triple M, 6PR and, in more recent years, AFL Nation/SEN.

An early riser, Goss has expanded his broadcasting skills to include breakfast radio announcing and is currently on air for SEN WA with Scotty Cummings.

His previous radio stints on Triple M, NOVA, 96FM, TAB Radio, 6IX and 6PR covered a range of roles, including sport, news and magazine style shows.

Goss is one of WA’s most sought-after hosts and was the long-time MC for the coveted Sandover Medal and WA Football Hall of Fame.

Goss is also a licensed corporate and real estate auctioneer and has just turned his hand to being a  property partner with The Agency.
