Scott Jamieson is a former Australian International Soccer player who captained Melbourne City in the Isuzu Ute A-League. Scott amassed 322 appearances all together in the A-League and had stints overseas with Bolton Wanderers in the English Premier League and IFK Gothenburg in Sweden. He played 4 times for the Socceroos and was named in the Players Football Association team of the year on 4 occasions. Scott captained Melbourne City Football club to its first ever grand final win in 2021 and also to a record breaking 3 straight premiership wins (21,21,23). Scott's leadership qualities and personality have been a major contributor to the success and culture of Melbourne City Football Club and will go down as one of the most important players in the clubs history. Scott is one of 6 players to reach 300 games in the Isuzu Ute A-League. Scott retired at the end of the 2023 season to take up the role of Assistant Coach of the A-League Mens team. Scott is An Adidas Football and Golf Ambassador and is involved in horse racing, appearing on shows like GetOnSA, shown on racing.com. Scott has also done media work, featuring on radio channels, SEN, RSN and TV work with Fox Sports, Channel 10.
