Elizaveta "Liz" Parnova is an Australian Track and Field athlete who competes internationally in the Pole Vault event. Born in Moscow, Parnova moved the Australia with her family in 1996 when she was two years old. Coming from legendary Pole Vaulting family members, with her father and her aunty both being World Class Pole Vaulters too.
She is a 4 Australian National Pole Vaulting Champion. A silver medalist in World Youth & World Junior Championships, as well as the Youth Olympic Games. Liz has represented Australia in the London Olympics, as the youngest ever female pole-vaulter aged 18. A World championships representative in 2017 and 2019, and has been to 2 Commonwealth Games placing 5th at the Gold Coast games in 2018.
Liz is a dual Olympian after representing Australia in the London 2012 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Since retiring in 2022 Liz took her talents to the screen where she was a contestant on Australian Survivor Heroes V Villains. After 47 days Liz came away with the crown being titled Sole Survivor!
