Declan Stacey is an Australian 10m platform diver who began Diving in November 2015. He has won 6 International medals including the 2018 Commonwealth Games, 2018 World cup and 2019 World series alongside synchronised partner Domonic Bedggood. Declan transitioned from International level Gymnastics into Diving at the late age of 22 years old with the goal of fulfilling his dream of representing Australia at the Olympic Games. Declan is now focussed on overcoming the challenges of COVID-19 in order to see his Olympic dream come to pass in 2021.
Beginning a new sport at 22 was always going to be tough. Declan’s daily discipline, work ethic and resilience has seen him defy all odds which is why he now uses his story of success and the principles he’s used to get there to motivate corporates and groups of all ages and sectors.

Declan is an experienced and passionate speaker, both virtually and face-to-face, whose goal is to help people become successful in a holistic way; both in and out of their work life.
Declan is an Australian Institute of Sport Mental health ambassador and has partnered with Lifeline Australia and Blackdog institute respectively. As a Lifeline Community Custodian, Declan helped break the stigma associated with mental illness and suicide by raising awarness and motivating the community to look out for one another. In 2020, Declan partnered with the Blackdog institute to deliver the Mental Fitness Program to school students in order to help them become mentally fit and resilient. Declan has also partnered with the Australian Olympic Committee to inspire and empower high school students to unleash their passion and unlock their potential in life.
Declan’s passion and experience in motivation has given him the skills to tailor his message to the needs of the audience, ensuring that an imprint is left on any given group he speaks to.
