Tom Murphy was selected at pick 4 in the 2017 Rookie Draft by North Melbourne.
He is a defender who made his debut for the Kangaroos in round 12 of 2018 and went on to play a further three games in his first season of AFL football.
A star for Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup, Tom became highly valued thanks to his mix of endurance and speed as well as his signature penetrating kick.
Injuries have plagued the first few years of his career, but he's now looking to make the jump into being a regular contributor for the Kangaroos.
Murphy was delisted by North Melbourne at the end of the 2020 AFL season. Tom is now playing for West Adelaide in the SANFL.
