After debuting in 2016, Blake Hardwick's rise has been impressive and fast.
Blake in his first four years at Hawthorn played almost 70 games, and cemented himself in the club's best 22 in 2019.
The medium-size deep defender was rarely beaten in one-on-one contests, be it in the air or at ground level, and his acceleration from the contest, his brilliant disposal and his super-competitiveness made him a huge weapon coming out of defence.
