After being taken with the 21st pick at the 2016 Rookie Draft by the Gold Coast Suns. Darcy knew that in order to excel at the elite level, he had to prove a point.
Now just a few short years into his career, Darcy has indeed proven this point and cemented himself among one of the Suns' top players.
In 2019 Darcy enjoyed a career best season, finishing third in the club's Best and Fairest count and playing every game for the season, and finishing as the 7th most prolific tackler in the entire league.
