Brittany (Brit) Elmslie is a dual Olympic Gold medalist. Brit has a passion for passing on the knowledge she gained from competing at an international level for over 13 years. During her swimming career she specialised in freestyle and butterfly, having won medals in both strokes respectfully at Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games and World Championship level.
Since retiring from her career as a professional swimmer, Brit has navigated her way through the transition into life after sport.
Brit enjoys meeting and connecting with people from all walks of life. She is an experienced speaker, currently presents for the AIS Respectful Behaviours Program and the AOC Olympics Unleashed school program. Brit has the ability to relate to any audience by drawing on her own adversities she has faced during her life. From winning an Olympic Gold medal at 18, to then facing a breast cancer scare at the age of 21 in the lead up for her second Olympics, Brit has faced many roadblocks on her road to success. Her unique and inspiring story of resilience is sure to empower you and your audience.
