Goodwin started his Super Rugby career in 2012 playing 50 caps for the Western Force. He then joined the Brumbies in 2017. After a strong National Rugby Championship Goodwin was selected for the Wallabies Spring Tour of Europe. He made his international debut against France, playing the full 80 minutes.
