Justin is a dual Paralympics, having competed in Wheelchair Basketball and Swimming and winning medals in each. He began competing in disabled sport in 1995, dabling in Wheelchair Basketball and swimming. He competed in the 2000 Paralympics, winning a Silver medal in the 4x100m freestyle relay and Bronze in the 4x100m Medley relay. In 2002 Eveson made his first appearance on the Australian Men’s National Wheelchair Basketball Team. Competing at the 2004 Paralympics the team took the Silver medal and at the 2008 Paralympics they won the Gold, after which he received a Medal of the Order of Australia. At the 2012 Paralympics Evans took home another Silver medal.
