Rather than spending weekends playing soccer and doing what many 13 year-old boys his age loved doing, he spent time battling a bone cancer which claimed part of his pelvis. Learning how to walk multiple times as well as utilising a wheelchair for many years thereafter, Adam found physical and mental inspiration in wheelchair tennis; a sport where he eventually gained professional athlete status and became a two-time Australian Paralympian!

But that was just the start of Adam’s amazing story.
