Working in newsrooms from just 21 years old, Lizzie Pearl is well known as one of Australia's top journalists and TV presenters.

Beginning her career in regional television, Lizzie has continuously transcended through the ranks, and along the way has been a newsreader and producer ABC Radio, a producer at the ITV news channel and APTN in London, Channel 9's State Politics Reporter, the US Correspondent for Channel 9 based in Los Angeles and is now a senior news journalist in the Nine Network's Sydney newsroom.

Lizzie's immense expertise combined with her passion for "giving the little guy a voice" makes her a powerful storyteller and a pleasure to watch.

During her career, Lizzie has covered some of the most interesting stories at a global level, including the first two years of the Trump Presidency, the devastating Hurricane Irma, wildfires across California, the largest mass shooting in United States history (Las Vegas) and the coldest Superbowl to date. Her career has also seen her travel to Rio de Janeiro, Toronto, New Zealand, Indonesia and London where needed.

An esteemed Sydney court reporter, Lizzie has been "court-side" for some of the most thrilling crime figures to ever brace the city, including Matthew Milat, Des Campbell and Keli Lane.

Outside of the newsroom Lizzie has a strong passion for helping reduce homelessness and strives to inspire young women to feel empowered and reach their highest potential, whatever their path may be.
