A fully qualified, Met office trained weather forecaster with 20 years experience, Clare’s first love has always been the science behind the weather.

Clare is the daily face of Channel 5 Weather, following 11 years as the weather anchor on GMTV.  Clare has also worked for BBC weather, ITV and The Weather Channel as a presenter and meteorologist. She recently co-hosted BBC podcasts ‘Under The Weather’ and fronted the Boots Air Pollution Campaign. Clare also featured in Channel 4’s Wild Weather series this year and has presented numerous live weather reactive programmes for Channel 5.

Clare co-presented the much acclaimed CBBC science documentary series Fierce Earth which ran for two successful series. She has also written a series of Children’s books about the weather and climate and is currently writing a pocket handbook of Weather Questions and Answers which is due for publication in Autumn 2019.

Writing regularly for the Huffington Post on science and weather, her love of science is accompanied by a wealth of qualifications, including a diploma in Environmental Policy, a degree in Maths and a Masters' in Oceanography

Clare is the ambassador for the National Campaign on Healthy Air; this involves working closely with an environmental law firm, Client Earth, and speaking for the campaign at the House of Lords as well as other events and press interviews. She is also an ambassador for The Princes Trust and a third-party advocate for the nuclear energy industry.
