Michael Klinger is an Australian first-class cricketer, who held the record for the most runs scored in the Big Bash League when he retired in 2019. Until the 2008-09 season, Klinger played for Victoria and for St Kilda Cricket Club in Premier Cricket. Klinger joined the South Australian Redbacks for the 2008-09 season. He was their captain in 2010 and was recognised as the State Player of the Year in both 2009 and 2010.

Klinger was bought by the Kochi Tuskers Kerala in 2011 (IPL), he was recruiter by the Perth Scorchers in 2014 and then played for Western Australia. In 2018, Klinger announced his retirement from first-class cricket.

Klinger is currently the Head of Male Cricket with Cricket NSW.
