Cameron D'Silva is a young diesel mechanic from Perth and part of the new generation of Ninjas.
Following a freak skateboarding accident in 2014 Cameron developed blood clots around his brain due to fracturing his skull in multiple places. He was rushed into emergency surgery to remove the blood clots, and he was left with 46 staples, three titanium bolts and a metal plate in his head. The doctors didn't think Cameron would ever lead a normal life again, but thankfully he proved them wrong making a full recovery – and still has a pretty impressive scar to show for it.
The injury resulted in Cameron giving up competing as a martial artist even though he'd won multiple State Championships in Tae Kwon Do. Cameron started Ninja training after watching the first season of Australian Ninja Warrior. He’s now hooked and trains every day at the Ninja Academy in Perth.
