A NSW product, Lawrence moved to Tasmania at the start of the 2018/19 season when he received a rookie contract with Cricket Tasmania and Development Rookie with the Hobart Hurricanes. Fast forward to 2020/21 and Lawrence now finds himself a full squad member as well as a replacement T20 player for the Sydney Sixers.
Lawrence is a lover of gaming, getting out into nature and spending time with family.
