Cody Weightman is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League. He was recruited by the Western Bulldogs with the 15th draft pick in the 2019 AFL draft.
Cody is one of the most exciting young prospects on a talented Western Bulldogs list, known for his speed, goal sense and forward pressure. A good one-on-one player who can turn his opponent inside out with innate goal sense.
Weightman had his breakout season in 2021, playing 16 games and kicking 26 goals. A four-goal elimination final performance against Essendon was the highlight for the craft forward.
In his spare time, Weightman enjoys wakeboarding and surfing, and has also learned to paint.
