Jo Brigden-Jones is a dual Olympian, paramedic and a cake decorator. Jo is one of Australia's fastest female paddles and has been on Australian teams every year since 2004. Jo worked during the COVID-19 pandemic as a paramedic along with her colleagues to help her community through this time. She then went on to race at the delayed Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, making the final in the K4 500m event.

Brigden-Jones is a strong and passionate competitor. She prides herself on constantly working on her self-improvement and aims to always get the best out of herself. This determination was tested when she had to overcome two shoulder reconstructions as well as missing out on two Olympic teams by just centimetres. However, she used this disappointment to her advantage and used it to keep striving for success. Currently, she is training for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
