Kaylia Stanton is an Australian Super Netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball Competition, playing for the West Coast Fever. She is a former member of the Australian under 21 squad finishing in 2015, and was also part of the team that came in second in the 2013 World Youth Super Netball Championship in Glasgow, Scotland. Kaylia also recently represented her country at the International Fast 5 series held over in Melbourne, where she was one of the top 3, 3 point shooters.
Kaylia is the daughter of former Olympic high jump gold medallist Christine Stanton. She has been playing with the West Coast Fever in the Suncorp Super Netball competition for the past seven seasons. The 25-year-old made her ANZ Championship debut in front of family and fans during Fever’s emphatic Round One victory over the Adelaide Thunderbirds at HBF Stadium, including a goal after the final siren. Kaylia’s performances throughout the season not only solidified Fever’s reputation as having one of the most talented up and coming shooters in the competition, but also served as a motivator to the team when called on in pressured moments when injury stuck the team.
