When I was just seven months old I was severely burnt and this has made me the person I am today. Having undergone over 89 skin graft operations, and more than 100 surgeries has instilled in me resilience and optimism. I have experienced the benefit of perseverance, enjoyed the rewards of hard work and learned what is really important in life.
I have played in Rep footy as a junior, finishing in the top ten in the best and fairest as a senior (AFL). My primary focus however, is speaking to young people, athletes and anyone looking to overcome adversity. I have given numerous speeches to crowds ranging from 50 -200 in front of donors, medical professions, patients and students. I am an articulate person who has overcome adversity and welcome the opportunity to speak to others about how to do just that.
