Felicity Sheedy-Ryan is a professional triathlete from Western Australia. 
The West Aussie, is a 2 x World Duathlon Champion, and has represented Australia on the world stage in ITU triathlons ( sprint and Olympic distance ) and long course 70.3 Half Ironman distance. She has been an International medalist across all these events, as well as winning numerous national titles over her career, and known for her leg speed on the run.
Starting as a young gymnast with Olympic aspirations, the pursuit of the Olympic dream continued when she crossed into her current sporting love of triathlon. Felicity has represented Australia in World Championship teams in Sprint, Olympic, and Half Ironman Distance triathlons, as well as Duathlon, where she became a 2 x World Champion, as well as winning a 3rd bronze medal in her first ever World Duathlon Championship.
Over the years Felicity has also medaled and won numerous ITU international Triathlons in Continental and World cups, Half Ironaman events, Oceanic, National and state titles, as well as finishing runner up twice in Australia's Largest triathlon, the Noosa Triathlon. In 2020 she also held the WA State 10,000m All comers record

Felicity has raced all over the globe, and gained immense experience, and exposure to different lifestyles and environments, with the pros and hardships this entails, in adapting to different situations. One of these was teaching herself to speak a second language, French, whilst training and living overseas in France where she raced for a French Team. Felicity has proven versatility and adaptability in Triathlon having success across different distances in the sport ranging from Qualifying for the short fast paced new Super League Triathlon Series, all the way up to winning Half Ironman races.

"I have been privileged to experience the extreme highs and success at the pointy end of my sport, but have also experienced the lowest lows. I believe it has shaped me to become a very rounded, understanding and resilient athlete of all situations, and I have certainly gained and matured in experience immensely over the years."

Outside of sport Felicity, or more commonly known as Flick, has completed a degree in Sport Science, followed by a second degree in Teaching. She is also a massive animal lover and of all things beach!
