Create an experience with Shaun Yuen

Shaun is a 3rd degree black belt and a 10x Australian Champion, currently the highest ranked Australian Karate Athlete in the Kata discipline.

Shaun has been practising karate since he was 7 years old and now at the age of 25 has already represented Australia on the world stage at numerous international competitions including 4x World Karate Championships, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Qualification tournament, FISU World University Championships and Commonwealth Championships. In 2019, Shaun made history as the first karate athlete to be selected by the Australian Olympic Committee to compete at the inaugural ANOC World Beach Games in Qatar. His most recent result is a career best 15th place at the 2021 World Championships in Dubai.

Outside of sport, Shaun is pursuing a career in professional services as an analyst at a Big 4 consulting firm. He is particularly keen to take up opportunities for public speaking, workshops or engagements in a way that synergises both his sporting and professional interests.

Shaun also has experience in the film industry and performed some work as an actor, particularly for films that heavily feature martial arts.

Shaun is eager to use his profile and influence to partner with Australian brands in an ambassadorship capacity to elevate brand recognition and engage with charities to raise social awareness.
