Ma’afu has spent time at Super Rugby clubs Brumbies and Western Force. He made his international debut for the Wallabies in 2010 where actually played against his brother who was also debuting for Fiji. The pair became the fourth set of brothers to play against each other in Tests and the first pair in the world to achieve it while both debuting.
