Born in Apia, the capital of Samoa, Christian was raised in Samoa before moving to Australia as a teenager to pursue his dream to play professional rugby league. Christian and his family moved to the suburb of St Marys, is Sydney's western suburbs, where he played rugby league for St Marys Saints. It was whilst playing for the Saints that Christian was spotted by the Penrith Panthers. Christian was quickly recruited to play for the Penrith Panthers' SG Ball team (under 18's).
Christian made his NRL debut in round 3 against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs on 23 March 2018 at ANZ Stadium. In Christian's debut season, he played 20 games, scored four tries, made 35 tackle-breaks and averaged 106.3 running metres per game. His impressive debut season lead to his selection in the Toa Samoa rugby league team, where he made his international debut against Mate Ma'a Tonga in a blockbuster, sold-out game at Campbelltown Stadium.
During 2018, Christian signed a 3-year deal with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs to secure his playing future until the end of the 2021 NRL season.
Christian signed with the Penrith Panthers for the 2022 season.
Away from football, Christian often plays basketball with his four brothers and extended family members.
