Blake is one of the competition's most elite-high calibre hookers, Brailey finished 2025 riding a streak of 130 consecutive NRL games. After ascending to the captaincy late in that season, the hooker was rewarded for his outstanding form with selection on Australia's Ashes Tour and named Daly M Hooker of the year.
Blayke debuted in 2019 and in 2022 Blayke was awarded the Cronulla Sharks Iron Man Award – he played every game during the season, his team made the top 4. In 2023 he was selected in the extended squad for the 2023 NSW State of Origin Team.
In 2024, Brailey was honored with the Sharks’ Porter Gallen Medal for the second consecutive year, becoming the first player since Michael Gordon to achieve this feat. He led the team in touches, totaling 3,360 for the season, and was also awarded the club’s Iron Man Award.
Blayke has now signed with the Sharks until the end of 2030.
