About me
Mitch Kenny is one of the NRL's most respected and dependable hookers, recognised for his toughness, leadership and selfless approach to the game. A Penrith Panthers junior, Kenny progressed through the club's pathways system before making his NRL debut in 2019 and has since become a cornerstone of one of rugby league's greatest modern dynasties. A four-time NRL premiership winner, he is renowned for his elite defence, communication and professionalism, regularly leading the team in the absence of senior captains.
Away from football, Kenny is equally admired for his passion for conservation and birdwatching, as well as his commitment to the local community. He has played a leading role in expanding the Panthers' hospital visitation program and was nominated for the 2026 Ken Stephen Medal – Man of the Year, recognising his outstanding contribution off the field.
