Darwin born, Thomas Maxwell is one of Australia’s most exciting up and coming racecar drivers. After a breakout season in the Formula Renault Eurocup, taking 10th place overall for the year. Thomas is returned home to race the Carrera Cup in Australia. Thomas in his first year exceeded all expectations and in his first ever Bathurst appearance placed 5th holding off a 5 time champion in the process. Thomas has had to raise over a million dollars in his racing career to keep him funded and all the while he has to stay focused on being a professional athlete, whilst essentially running a business. Together as a family the Maxwell's have made it work despite not having the traditional money required to go racing at the elite level. Thomas has been watched by over 5 million people this year in the Porsche Carrera Cup events at Bathurst/Phillip Island/Adelaide and the Melbourne GP.
Thomas is currently racing in The Dunlop Super2 Series, the second tier series for Supercars competitors.
Off the track, Thomas enjoys playing golf, fishing, drumming and spending time out on the water. His down-to-earth nature and growing online following make him an amazing ambassador for brands wanting to partner with exciting new talent.
