Henderson is a current AFL Player who plays for the Geelong Cats . Henderson was drafted in 2007 to the Brisbane Lions. He ended up playing 15 games for the club before being traded to the Carlton Blues at the end of the 2009 Season. He was then at the Blues for 101 games before requesting a trade to the Cats at the conclusion of 2015.
Henderson become a consistent part of Geelong's defence, however from 2019 he struggled to play at the AFL level. After 54 games for Geelong, he was delisted at the end of 2019. However he received a reprieve, after being selected with pick #35 in the rookie draft. Going on to play another two years for the Cats.
He announced his retirement at the end of 2021 after a 206 game career.
